Growing up I was lucky to be surrounded by people who encouraged me to do great things in life. These people taught me that I could accomplish anything I put my mind to and I have grown up truly believing that. It's the exact mindset that led me to college and then on to complete medical school.
I have accomplished huge goals in my life, but I'm not even close to being satisfied with what I have done. I recently heard a saying that describes this notion perfectly:
"When you get to the top of a mountain you don't stop to rest, rather, you look around for other mountains to climb."
Photography has already taken me on a fantastic voyage meeting new people and seeing new places and things, but I'm incredibly excited to see where it will take me tomorrow and the day after.
"What happens at the end of the road when you have worked so hard to achieve a goal that was once merely a dream?...
...You just might find yourself so empowered that you want to keep working to accomplish something that's so big it escaped even the wildest of your dreams." -Ryan Adams
