I went out last night to watch the storms roll in. Of course I took my camera and tripod with me because I could tell before I left it was going to be quite a light show. Here's what I got:
![]() Late last night I was watching some videos on adobe TV and I came across one by Julieanne Kost. The video and Julieanne's artwork inspired me to create the following piece which I created by blending parts of five different photographs and editing them in photoshop. If you are into this kind of thing you can watch the video below: On Saturday, May 30th, Janet and I were married at the Quartz Mountain lodge in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. We had a couple weeks where there were thunderstorms almost every day. It's one of my favorite times of year! Here are some photographs I took while chasing the storms. ![]() ![]() ![]() It's difficult to get a good photograph of lightning due to it's unpredictability. Last night I was monitoring the local radar and saw this isolated thunderstorm approaching my house so I decided to go set up my gear on top of a hill just outside of town. I was very excited when I released the shutter on my camera and watched the following image pop onto my display! ![]() I was trying to remember a detail about an event I attended many years ago and started looking through my photo album from that day.
